Johnny Christopher Depp was born on 9th of June on 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky, USA but he grew up in Florida. He became interested in the cinema when his wife introduced him to actor Nicolas Cage, they talked about the acting and Jhonny presented a casting for A Nightmare on Elm Street in 1984 directed by Wes Craven. When he was starring for four seasons the series 21 Jump Street like Tommy Hanson, made his career and made him a teen idol. 

In 1990 he back at the cinema with two films of Tim Burton so important for Hollywood, they are  'Cry-Baby' and 'Edward Scissorhands'; he became in the most famous actor of Hollywood. Then he worked in 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in 2005

 

In 2003 he started to act in the saga 'Pirates of the Caribbean' (The Curse of the Black Pearl) directed by Gore Verbinski, Johnny acted as Jack Sparrow with Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa and Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann

In 2006 was the premiere of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' 2 (Dead Men's Chest) directed by Gores Verbinski too, in this film Johnny Deep, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley back with their characters and new actors: Bill Nighy as Davy Jones and Stellan Skarsgård as Bill Turner




In 2007 was the premier of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' 3 (At World´s End) the new characters are: Chow Yun-Fat as Sao Feng. This film received the award in the category of Best Special Effects and was nominated in the category of Best Make Up



In 2010 he changed a of character with 'Alice In Wonderland' directed by Tim Burton, in this film Johnny acted as Tarrant Hightopp, with Mia Wasikowska as Alicia, is a fantasy film inspired by the books The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland

In 2011 was the premier of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' 4 (On Stranger Tides), directed by Rob Marshall, this film is talking about tha adventures of Jack Sporrow for find of fountain of youth, the new characters are Penelope Cruz as Angeica Teach and Ian MacShane as Edward Teach tha famous 'Black Beard'



Johnny Depp won the award of 'Best Villian' for his performance as Sweeney Tood and 'Best Comedy Performance' for Jack Sparrow.

For this year Johnny is working in a new film 'The Lone Langer' in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado, is directing by Gore Bervinski and producing by Jerry Bruckheimer, others actors like Tom Wilkinson, William Fitchner, Barry Pepper and Helena Bonham are the characters of the film
